What a dreary rainy day...
BUT, that is ok cause there is plenty to get done inside!
Cleaned out the home school cart and filled it will the new 4th grade curriculum.. took a nap.. now I am trying to stay awake.. maybe I will jump on the elliptical for a few minutes..
My mom is coming in town the end of next week or so and I am dreading painting the walls before she gets here.. I started a few years ago when Joel was Seth's age.. Summer 2006!! Now I need to finish the house but I am 100% sure that will not happen by next week. I am hoping to finish the stairway, hall and Noah's room. That leaves everywhere else but the main front room left to paint.. that room has been done since Summer 2006.. the only room I finished. The main floor bathroom off the kitchen is almost finished though..but since I have 3 boys it needs a new coat of paint by now. Ieeeieieieeeeeoooo

It's a Miracle!
Joel finally went #2 in the toilet!! I had to coax him through it big time but he finally did it!!! We are so exited! It would be so awesome to have him out of pullups!

Photo Stamps cheaper than the Post office?
Yes!!
If you look behind the photo counter at your local Walgreens there should be a box that looks like the photo above on clearance. Store prices vary. I found mine for $7.19! Cheaper than the post office. They make great gifts! You can also order through Upromise and get $8 back but rumor has it they are not paying.. we'll see how it works out. Or, you can go through My Points before clicking through to photostamps.com. Even if there are no extra bonuses like Upromise or My Points they are cheaper stamps (and you can hold onto the codes to use when the price of stamps goes up again) and excellent practical gifts make the cost worth it.

Quad Cities Day trip
The boys and I took a day trip to the Family Museum in Bettendorf, IA. It was fun! Joel didn't want to leave.
A little bit of history:
I was born there and we lived at 1132 Brown Street until my 4th year in school at Lady of Lourdes. My best friend was Emily Nimmer. I loved playing at McManis Park, riding my banana bike up and down the alley, and going down to the river to feed the ducks. We moved to Cedar Rapids where I attended 5th-9th grades. Moved during my Freshman year to Ankeny, IA. Then I moved to my dad's house in Lincoln, NE for my Junior and Senior years in HS. Moved back to Ankeny, IA immediately after my HS graduation to live with my mom and attend college. We will stop there for now. HEHE
