Seth had his 1 yr check up on Thursday..
It went very well! He is so healthy!! He is a little over 21 pounds! He had 4 shots and immediately ripped 2 band-aids off in the car. He is a funny little boy! I love him so much!

Garage sale finds!
We went to lots of garage sales today. Noah was at his dad's today so my friend Anna and her son Anston rode along. We stopped at Jason's Deli afterward and used some free kids meal coupons. It was such a beautiful day. We had a great time finding bargains!
A beautiful silky smooth feather pillow (cover zips off).. it was pretty nasty but our new HE washer cleaned it right up! It goes so well with our leather couch! At only $1.50!
Clothes for Seth that were $1.50 each or less!
1 pair of super cute 18m Chams jeans
12m & 18m Osh Kosh bibs
18m Osh Kosh shirt, new with tags still attached, (I already washed it though)
18m Polo plaid outfit
I can't wait to see Joel and Seth wearing matching Osh Kosh bibs on the hay rack ride this year!
( I purchased a 4T Osh Kosh bib overall (for Joel) from a garage sale last Friday for $3.00.. which is a lot in my opinion for a garage sale but they were in Excellent condition!)
....this one will be nice for church!

ObamaCare will put Planned Parenthood clinics inside your child's school

Yes, you read that right. Under an innocuous-sounding section titled "School-Based Health Clinics," H.R. 3200 will authorize Planned Parenthood, as a "sponsoring facility," to run a clinic during school hours on the grounds of public schools, with absolutely no accountability either to parents or school administrators.
Clinics would be accountable only to the Secretary of Health & Human Services, the radically pro-abortion Kathleen Sebelius, who was a fervent supporter of late-term abortionist George Tiller.
All this will be done at taxpayer expense. And unlike the rest of the bill, which isn't slated to go into effect until 2013, these clinics are scheduled to go into schools next fall.
As you know, Planned Parenthood is the nation's largest abortion provider and the most dangerous purveyor of the mythical "safe sex" message which has deprived so many American teens of their sexual innocence and left them with diseases and unwanted pregnancies.
Take Action!
The last thing we need is for President Obama to put these dangerous clinics inside our schools. Send an E-mail your congressmen and senators in Washington, D.C., today and urge them to vote "No" on any health care plan that invites Planned Parenthood onto our public school campuses.

In remembrance 9-11-01
I remember the day like it was yesterday... I went to work.. just sat down at my desk. It was just after 8AM. Someone said, "Look at the TV!" Everyone crowded around.. the news spread to the radio.. boss let everyone go home for the day. Left work and picked up Noah from the babysitter. We just sat on the couch and watched the horrifying news.. thought the world was ending. I taped most of it. I kept the newspapers. It was a shock. I cried. I felt so awful as I looked at the photos of all who were lost that day. I still feel so bad inside when I think about it. I can't imagine loosing my spouse or children. My mom had already moved down to Texas the year prior... I was all alone. It was just Noah (2yrs old) and myself in a 2 bedroom apartment.

Seth had a 103.6 temp last night at 3AM...
So I immediately took him to the ER and they ran some tests.. and they traumatized him!! They did a catheter to get some urine.. and some blood too.. he screamed and cried for an hour after we got home. He just has a virus and they said it will run its course. I sure hope it is over by the time Grandma comes.. poor thing!! If you think of it please say a prayer for him today. Thanks!
